According to analyst Anne Lee, next year's iPhones will remain similar to the current iPhone Xs and Xr ranges, reports Softpedia.

"We think the three new iPhones in 2019 will likely have the same form factors as the 2018 iPhone Xr, Xs, and Xs Max, with some added AR-related features," said Lee.

We don't need a new iPhone in 2019. It's going to be the same damn phone with minor camera adjustments or something. Rather skip a year and release an actual upgrade.

Those multiple cameras are actually very cool ... it adds a huge amount of flexibility to take 16mm / 28mm / 80mm / 130mm (hybrid) and 270mm (digital) - so 5 different focal lengths. In additional, the 16mm is a macro mode. Basically having a phone with that all built in, is a god send. Even the older dual lens with a monochrome only sensor worked nicely .

I see Apple adding a 3rd lens in at some stage ... not for the quality, but rather for the flexibility

How can you say of course not? The iPhones look like crap. That giant notch needs to go. The OnePlus 6T basically has no notch at this point and the OP7 might have literally no notch.

I might buy a better-looking iPhone if I was investing in the Apple ecosystem. But there is zero chance I'm forking over top dollar for that disgusting and antiquated notch.
