2020 Rimac C Two

Here’s over 19,000bhp worth of Rimac lounging in a Roman amphitheatre

Nine standard Neveras and an ‘R’ come together in what might be the quietest and most powerful four-day road trip

Rimac has assembled a rather powerful flock of Nevera hypercars for a four-day tour of Croatia, and yes, our jealousy is running very deep right now.

Combined, what you’re looking at is 16,992bhp, 15,660lb ft and a value of at least £15.3m, since each Nevera starts at £1.7m. And that’s before you throw in the Nevera R captaining the group, which adds another 2,078bhp to the mix.

Boss Mate Rimac also joined in on the many excursions, which kicked off at Rimac’s factory near Zagreb. It then saw the convoy hit up the city’s grand Esplanade Hotel before stopping off at the Nikola Tesla Memorial Centre to pay homage to one of Mate’s idols. You remember Nikola, of course: the man who put AC into AC/DC. Very rock 'n roll.

From there, the group trekked through the countryside to flex some of the Nevera’s considerable muscles, reaching its conclusion at the Pula Arena: a perfectly preserved, 2,000-year-old Roman amphitheatre made of limestone arches.

Your move, Koenigsegg: Rimac Nevera R smashes new 0-400-0kmh record

Mad quad-motor EV goes two seconds faster than the mad Swedish one

Forget Wimbledon, because Rimac and Koenigsegg are playing an extremely high-profile game of doubles that’s both a) extremely fast and b) admittedly extremely lengthy.

Rimac has smashed the latest volley, because its Nevera R has managed 0-400-0kmh (0-249-0mph) in 25.79s. That’s 2.04s quicker than Koenigsegg managed last year in the Jesko Absolut.

The Jesko bettered its Regera sibling’s time of 28.81s, which was faster than the original Nevera’s time of 29.93s. Might need a neck massage after all this.

Ditto the driver of the Nevera R, because along with blitzing Koenigsegg’s record, Rimac chalked off a further 23 records, going faster in every metric it famously smashed through back in 2023.
