20GB for R199?

I'm happy with R299 for 10+10 LTE plus a router.

Debit went off and is still R199.... Will have to wait and see. Received another call from the sales guys asking if I want to upgrade and I told them I would be happy to upgrade to uncapped LTE if they activate the tower in my area. The sales chap said that "they" do not think there will be any future expansion on uncapped LTE.

Well I didn't authorise the increase, haven't got it back yet, waiting for the statement to arrive in a day or 2 then they can process the refund, or so they say.

Need to see how this pans out. My December debit came to R614 and January was back to the usual R714 with my Note 4 contract @ R500.

Back to my usual debit. So with Feb being R814 to balance the Dec R614 I am still paying R199 on the 3rd month on month to month.

I offered to cancel my contract if they couldn't renew at R199, they got back to me and agreed another 24 months at R199 only to promptly cancel my contract mid month, sim dead. Still trying to sort it out. Luckily the above was done via email so I have proof of what transpired but I'm still not sure how it will end.

So I got "the call" (from 021 003 0110) today after having been out of contract since Oct 2015.

They said my 10+10 contract will go up to R299pm soon. Offered me a 24month 10GB+5GB contract for R199 with Huawei B315.

I took it, never use the midnight part anyway. I already have the June 10GB+5GB for R199 special with a Huawei B315, so now I have 2 lol.

I usually end up looking for stuff to kill midnight data anyway and I pick up my neighbours wifi as well. I thought I could get the Cell R999/365 days /50GB+150GB if needed and end the Telkom 10+10 but not sure if it is still available and if it is LTE data.

So the Huawei B315 router I got from Telkom has failed. Switched it off, and when I tried to switch it on, nothing. Only the power light stays on.

I thought I could get the Cell R999/365 days /50GB+150GB if needed and end the Telkom 10+10 but not sure if it is still available and if it is LTE data.

Any mobile data can be used via Lte if you have Lte coverage and an Lte modem.

Everything is LTE data if you have a LTE device, but would work on Telkom 3G as well...

You can go anywhere there is Telkom tower coverage.

If you have a SmartInternet package, you can roam on MTN as well, or if you load a data bundle onto your Telkom Only contract.

I got a call today regarding my 10gig + 10gig contract that ends this month. Offered me an LTE router 20gig + 20gig for R399.00 per month. I took it because I don't think there's no any other better option than this.

You could have got 4 of their 5gb for R99 promotion and got 4 x Lte routers thrown in, sell 3 keep one, not sure if any nightsurfer data is incl though.

LOL. If its possible to do that. I see the standard 20gig + 20gig contract goes for R499.00 per month. R399.00 is not that bad.

I also recently received an sms to state my 10GB R199 contract is due for an upgrade (have been on a month-to-month for probably two years).

However, none of their current deals come even close to that. I also have a 20GB for R399.

So I pay R598 for 30GB yet their current best deal is R599 for 20GB.
