Apparently 21 days is enough time to change your behaviour.

I hope so.

Here goes:

Alcohol 2
Cannabis 2
Nicotine 2
Sugar 2
Wheat 2

They forgot to mention after the 21 days it takes one hour to go back to the bad behavior.

Generally the initial stopping is easy, it is lasting 2 months, then 6, then a 12 that is the issue. That is when people break for the most part.

This is so very true.

I'm going to cross that bridge when I get to it. Just need a bit of motivation for the next couple of weeks...

And I thought I had vices ... :D

Regarding the factors you mentioned ...

Most of them are stimulants. You just need to replace them with better ones. Ones that are healthier. But therein lies the problem ... What, which, where?

Alcohol and cannabis (doh) are not stimulants, nor is wheat, I don't think.

I'd prefer to avoid stimulants altogether, I just don't think I can stop drinking tea...

All of those things have benefits in moderation (except if you mixing that nicotine with tar and additives).

You'd be the perfect colleague for the old "tannies" in the "personeelkamer". They would love you for drinking a cup of tea with them so that they can schmear of their accountant and promiscuous daughters on you.

Pity, their wills haven't influenced the wills of their daughters ... for me.

Nicotine is a stimulant.

And so is alcohol ... if taken lightly (sort of) ... which is the reason why I subjected my colleagues to an impromptu and mandatory kareoke session on friday evening at a function at my work. I got hold of the wireless microphone of the public sound system in our hall and showed my IDOLS singing skills to everyone ... whether they wanted to hear me or not.

"Dans met my Ka---ri--- naaaaaa"!!!!
