Grr, I'm sure the consensus around here a while back used to be that 8800GT = 9800GT = GTS250?
Been so long since I sold an Nvidia product... ATI FTW. Anyhoo.

Yip, more power = more performance.
The GTS250 is the new 9800GT.
Godammit people, just look here.

I want t know about the audio thing.
I got a card the 9800 GT, with out the 6-pin thing.. (I know that they said more power = more performance, but on the box it's HIGHLIGHTED.. sounds like they were really proud.. but anyway.. )
On the 9800GT has the 2pin for the HDMI audio thing..
I just want to ask, IF I'm NOT using HDMI, can I still add that in and get EXTRA audio?
(And what does it actually do anyway? Give better sound?)
And does anyone know why they "renamed" everything? Why can't they jut keep it at 98 or 88 etc..
The 9800GTX+(GTS250) is an overclocked 9800GT.
They like money.
V(If someone has such a website that compares their CPU,that will be great! Thanks)

not quite, the 9800gtx (gts 250) has 128 shaders, while the 9800gt has 96, but everything else has been "overclocked".
