2560 x 1440 displays - Options?

The U2713H is a completely different model to the U2713HM.

The U2713H is a more expensive wide gamut screen designed for professionals.

The U2713HM is a cheaper standard gamut screen.

The U2713HM is a much better choice, imo, since it is cheaper, and has very good pixel responsiveness and a good factory calibration.

From what I've read, U2713H has a very good calibration for a wide gamut screen, right out of the box. Yes the U2713HM is more responsive for games. But U2713H also has a card reader, and more importantly DP out, which can be very handy. U2713HM has VGA instead of DP out, but who wants VGA on a WQHD screen anyway? With U2713HM you also have to beware of backlight bleeding - I had to send one back because of it, yet the other was fine. I have photos of this.

Looking at my screen again, it's the U2713H I have. That means it's even more awesome? :D :p

Explains the colour calibration chart they give you with the monitor.
