So theres no Vodacom boot animation etc?The Nokia 8 is pure Android. There's no branding whatsoever. Updates were really quick when I had the phone. Camera was average and a bit slow but other than that it was a great phone.
Mostly it's down to the post processing, maybe try a different camera app, you can also sideload the Google Pixel camera appThe Nokia 8 is pure Android. There's no branding whatsoever. Do you still own the phone?
I also read the camera has been laggy since the new Oreo update. But this isnt exclusive just to the Nokia 8. Have read that on multiple phones that have received the update.Mostly it's down to the post processing, maybe try a different camera app, you can also sideload the Google Pixel camera app
I got mine three weeks ago, it's fast, it's pure Android and it's cheap for what you get. Remember that contract is for new customers only though. The 3310 is just sitting doing nothing at the moment. Is the Nokia 8 still worth it? There are good deals now for them.
R299/month on Voda and you get a 3310 for free as well
For anyone interested Vodacom has the Nokia 8 for R199pm on Smart XS+, for reference Nokia 5 is also R199pm on Smart XS+
Yes, July brochure and on their websiteIs that the latest version?
Bought one on Takealot yesterday for R6499. Delivery Monday 23rd.
Will test it on wife. Interested to see if she'll see it as an upgrade or downgrade from her Lumia 950 (last of the old Nokia phones rebranded to Msft). It's a good phone![]()
