dont worry im in the same boat as you, once you get used to dual sim you cant live without it again.Edit : See you meant the OnePlus5. At almost 4k over the price I'd pay importing it myself lol. I'll wait a bit.

im curious how you managed to return a open and used product, i would have thought they will give you the usual cellphone company runaround on how you cant return it once opened

Well I called and confirmed twice on the phone regarding it being dual sim before going to pick it up and a a further 2 times in store.
It wasn't and I emailed the store and their customer care. Manager understood and consultant that assisted confirmed what had happened. They know they are two versions of the phone and on the box it looks like there are two IMEI numbers.
Just a bad miscommunication but I was impressed by how the store handled the whole situation.

No. I actually bought it cash of of someone. As far as I know vodaworld is the only place that has stock.

Yeah that's the going rate. Ianaged to get it cheaper of a work colleague as he didn't want it.
the vodacom sales person told me sometimes the phones could be stuck at customs

They be lying. Vodacom store manager said they are only getting phone which they know they will get rid of ala Note 8 and the like.
That's why some stores have and others don't and probably wont get stock.

There is a dual-sim variant. Voda and MTN don’t stock it. I was told CelluCity cells the dual sim variant but they are a Vodacom shop as I found out.
Cell C and Telkom sell Dial Sim phones like the Px series of Huewei phones.

Yeah I know, spoke to someone from MTN Business that was trying to tell me that Vodacom and Cell C had 3 month Exclusivity and MTN can only get this afterwards, just shows you they don't know what they talking about.
Only Vodacom had exclusivity and Cell C and MTN could already sell it from 1st November, but they busy sleeping instead of doing their jobs.
