I purchased the 29w usb-c charger to charge my iPad Pro 10.5. I'm using a generic cable from Baseus that says it supports up to 18w of charge power. The problem I'm having is that it will charge the ipad and then stop, with the "not charging" message by the battery. Disconnecting and plugging it back in resumes the charge but after a while I will get the not charging message. Before I drop cash on the Apple cable, has anyone had this happen to them? Running iOS 10 at the moment

Apple doesn’t offer support for some 3rd party charger cables and adapters starting with iOS 10. Only Apple certified MFi chargers work to protect the security and prevent damage of the device and battery. Apple just wants you to waste money and buy their expensive cables.
