Just like the Cell C 2G promo contract.![]()
Dear Jannie
At least Cell C have a pre-paid (hard cap) option as well which does not incur an activation cost.
The "power" really is about choice

Just like the Cell C 2G promo contract.![]()
VC a laugh a second never mind minute!
I have just got back from our local VC DEALER I spoke about the promotion GB2+GB2 Nightowl Guess what?...They had no clue what I was talking about and said they would need to find out....I mean don't you guys send Newsletters around to your branches to inform them of what's going on?
Isn't this deal from MTN just as good, if not better than Vodacom?
2GB per month for R149 + a 21Mbps modem + 19c/MB OOB rates

Don't have a MTN 3G tower here...
Apart from the 24month contract thing, it's not half bad at all.
Have to give credit to MTN though for their OOB:
R0.19 vs R1.20
I personally wouldn't mind going a bit over my cap limit with that.
Where have you been? Also do CellC have their own towers or do they ride on other SP's?![]()

Ron said:Ron Reddick, Chief Information Officer at Cell C, confirmed that the 1600 sites Reichelt referred to in his launch presentation were true sites, not repeaters or anything else.
But last week Cell C reported they've got 1550 sites.![]()
From:Lars said:Reichelt said that Cell C has over 2,500 base stations capable of running at 21 Mbps in the 900MHz band. Of those towers, 1,550 are in commercial use.

The way I read that, they've increased from 1600+ to 2500+ sites in 7 months, and of those 1550 are in commercial use. I assume before the launch 7 months ago, none of the 1600+ sites would have been in commercial use.
AS EXPECTED, NO TOP-UP.
Just as well I got myself another 2GB/mnth (risk free) from Cell C for R999 yesterday
