2meg Connection

Question - if my 1Mbps modem is getting 512kbps due to weak signal, will that equate to 1Mbps once we get that much vaunted 2Mbps ?

Interesting question one would assume so if a half signal equates to half the speed then yes but i dont think it is entirely liniar, next question is, is the network already capable of doing 2meg or will it be like 3g where only some folk get it...

LOL I was wondering exactly the same thing... get one from china or wherever lol... no garuntees though and somehow iburst locks modems to accounts.

A friend of mine was with iburst moved to neotel, and I cannot connect with my account on his modem....

Yes, they tie modems to accounts.
 
the uncapped 384 adsl prices are good, but im already frustrated with 1m 384 will kill me lol... but no limit eish its a difficult desicion ....
