Question - if my 1Mbps modem is getting 512kbps due to weak signal, will that equate to 1Mbps once we get that much vaunted 2Mbps ?

Interesting, if I will buy 2Mbit modem, will I have 2Mbit on current network?
LOL I was wondering exactly the same thing... get one from china or wherever lol... no garuntees though and somehow iburst locks modems to accounts.
A friend of mine was with iburst moved to neotel, and I cannot connect with my account on his modem....

Pretty much 2 x 1M chipsets in one chassis, so think desktop X 2.......
