Not sure what is happening. If I was to speculate I would say because of stage 2 load-shedding many users may not be able to access the network leaving it open for the rest of us? But again I cannot say that it is the case or not.

We have been loadshedding the whole week and everyday at 4pm its still meh not today though

Sounds like your company is in the dark ages. We stopped using FTP long ago. It's not exactly a secure protocol.

It doesn't get used a lot but it is handy because cloud services can be troublesome. "especially if the owner forgets to pay the bill" So I just do my work it is not my call really.

Old Pretoria East, close to Snyper; just across the highway. In the "fancier" area ironically.

Luckily my fibre stable at 90mbps.

Always kept LTE as backup and used to be faster than my 20mbps fibre. LTE used to be stable 30mbps.

Seems to be resolved my side as well, guy called me from Telkom today around midday talking about potential dropped packets but he said he would investigate and inform the relevant division if need be.

I'm cautiously optimistic

Look to be honest if the speeds are stable now and hold out I would recommend an antenna.

Pop a wanted ad on Carbonite. Co. Za could get lucky.
