How its 700 bucksI think this is an awesome deal.
The town I live in has no fiber. This is the next best. Most other providers limit the speed. ADSL 20 mbps costs R754 per month. How its 700 bucks
Well, almost.ADSL 20 mbps costs R754 per month.

been a while lol. Got the antenna yesterday so I am going to start putting it around my house to see if it improves connection. I'd be happy with some tips to make the process less dreadful haha.mmm I would get the antenna made a 4x difference to my initial speeds also keeps connection rock solid
plug in and turn till you find the best spot mine was set by the professionals so I cant comment.been a while lol. Got the antenna yesterday so I am going to start putting it around my house to see if it improves connection. I'd be happy with some tips to make the process less dreadful haha.
So during the past week I have tried placing the antenna at different points around my house. It didnt improve my speeds at all, even though the RSRP, RSRQ, and SINR values changed a little for the better. At this point I am starting to figure it might be a problem with the tower since before I had excellent speeds and one day it just stopped.plug in and turn till you find the best spot mine was set by the professionals so I cant comment.
Did you find solution finally? Am in same positionJust an FYI...
If you are looking for the MR600 and happen on one at a local cash converters, check the sticker and make sure its NOT a vodacom model. (SSID vodacom-xyz - IP address changed to 10.0.0.254)
Bought one and had to return it because some settings where missing...
WAN interface - Missing (ie: cant setup up internet profiles or change bands)
Operation Mode - Missing (ie: cant set to bridge mode)
Firmware Upgrade - Missing (ie: well, this ones self explanatory)
Tried the method to boot in recovery and flash via Tftpd64 but there was no response.
TP link website had a few default IP's to listen on but none work with what I had.
Do a speedtest at 3:30 AM to see what the tower is capable of when its not busy.I'd be happy with some tips to make the process less dreadful haha.
