2TB Anytime data

Hi
Is the router from Axxess any good or should I look for something else. Looking at the 2tb option.

TP-LINK Archer MR600 Dual Band 4G+ Cat6 Router

No 5G here, been on LTE for some time and have had a B593s-601 but its not very user friendly, pos tbh.
Thx

Hi I have a contract with MTN that is coming to an end soon and I was thanking of moving to Afrihost with the Telkom LTE 2Tb package month to month But I do not know if Telkom is any good in my area as it seems like most provider are moving out of my area I have been fighting with Vodacom to even get enough signal to make a phone call but they are not interested so I am using my current MTN Wi-Fi connection to route my vodacom cellphone signal for phone calls but according to the Afrihost terms and conditions you are locked into the Telkom package for 6months or you have to pay R999.00 to get out of that package with or without hardware, this does not seem fair.

Get a Telkom prepaid sim and test the internet connection first. If it's kak you know. I did that and the Telkom LTE in my area is good. Never ever down. MTN on the other hand went for a ball of **** in my area.

But you need to set the sim card and buy Telkom-LTE/LTA-A data only. Don't use the All network's data.

For once we have power, but Telkom is down. They seem to be out on Sundays on quite a regular basis (every 2nd month or so) and service only returns the next day.

So what's the b618-65d + xpol 6 worth these days ? Might put mine up for sale

Hello @Sneeky
The TP-Link Archer MR600 that we have for sale is actually one of the best Cat6 Routers out there.

Communication System:
4G/TDD-LTE/3G

Speed:
LTE 300Mbps DL/50Mbps UL

Wi-Fi Protocol:
IEEE 802.11a/n/ac 5 GHz, IEEE 802.11b/g/n 2.4 GHz

I have tested Telkom in my area it is not as fast as MTN but the 2TB Telkom would be much more data. I see the Telkom 2TB is R797.00 with Afrihost, but R699.00 with Mweb. Why the different pricing for the same product? As i don't really want to go with Telkom Direct but via an ISP.

Make it a combo for around R1600 - R1800 I donno. The 65d has a bit of a premium to it. Very happy with mine. Rock solid.

Telkom mobile is not Telkom.

I have had zero issues using Telkom mobile for YEARS

On telkom website 2tb lte shows as a 36months contract, is it in fact a month-to-month package that one can cancel without penalty? Or perhaps some other isp offers telkom 2tb package on a month-to-month?

Yes, some ISPs offer the 2TB package as month to month. No contracts.
