2TB Anytime data

...no 5G is consistent from what I've seen.
This test was done in a area I don't live in.
I get a tenth of that at home.

Telkom 2TB is R699 and up to 2TB of data. Even works on 5G now if you have coverage.
Never used all the data once since I have the thing.
Only sad part is you can no longer have it as a MultiSIM.
(Yes some of us have it as a MultiSIM)

I'm currently on Telkom's 2TB LTE package. Do I need to cancel this in order to move to their 2TB 5G package if I have coverage?

I've never had speeds anywhere close to these ever. My previous best speeds with Vodacom/Telkom were not even a 10th of these.


Not sure where/how to check how close I am to the 450GB FUP though. Can't see anything in the coolzone client area (website).

Thanks, @Forum Reader. I'm seriously considering getting a Cool Ideas 5G Vodacom package and cancelling my Telkom 2TB.

Please confirm, does any unused data on your Vodacom 5G package roll over to the next month?

I don't know if there is a cap currently. Technically I should be capped at 450GB and then be throttled to 1Mb/s. But I don't think they have enabled these limits yet. I also don't think I have used over 450GB per month so I can't say for sure:

I would not do that as the new packages are limited to the speeds listed as when signing up, the people who first signed up have a different batch of sims without the sims being speed limited.

Also the FUP is far worse and will never match Telkoms amount of data

I signed up last week and my package is capped. 50mb package only gets 48mb down and 23 up

Really hoping that they don't introduce the speed and bandwidth caps on the early adopters accounts until after the World Cup Soccer. I was hoping to stream most of the games at 1080p but this uses between 1.5 and 3GB per hour and SABC+ will be showing 34 matches. Thankfully the matches are split over two months but I think it will be relatively easy to use 200GB+.

Are you planning on staying with Afrihost if your original account is still active?
