If you could ask your potential SO (that's significant other ...) 3 questions to judge if you'd marry or have a long term relationship with them, what would they be ... ?

I'd probably ask :

How many boyfriends have you cheated on?
How many boyfriends have you had?
What's your longest relationship?

That way I could determine if she dates/sleeps around for the hell of it, or whether there'd actually be a chance for us and something meanful down the line.

Wow you're quick - I was trying to delete it before a reply or anyone saw it ;)

Can someone please move it?

Or change it to 3 questions before making that long term decision on a camera purchase? ;)

I was once asked:

1) Do you own a gun.
2) Do you have any restraining orders currently in place against you.

relationships are not governed by science and rules or law. they are governed by feelings and hormones.:D

so those questions could be falsely answered so that you get the answer you want and then what?

she can say she has never cheated you you might never find out your whole lifetime. relationships are a lot like life, you take them as they come. i mean how many times has people been cheated on my their most trusted partners?

the answers to your questions might make you feel better but what determines something meaningful is the hormones between the two of you.

you might meet a prostitute and marry because you have such great sex, and she might be the most beautiful girl, the one and you will won't know about the other dark side of her...;)

we gamble every time we date... you have to take then as they come...

sometimes you win, sometimes you loose, and when you win you have to know when to walk away;)

Yea ... but hypothetically they have to be the truth :p

Which 3 would you want to know where there is no option to be lied to

How much do you earn
How much do you owe
How long have you been with this work and the previous one.

( I paid enough cars and stuff for ex's that lived above their means)

Money is not something that grows on trees and in today's economy, it is increasingly hard to keep your head above water. It's a very reasonable question.

You're preaching to the converted, my lamb ;)

I was just testing Picard's true motives.

In my defense I might add that I placed them in an order of priority.

Oh no, you don't need a defense. I didn't mean to attack you, just curious how other people think about the $$$ issue.
