With Afrihost you can cancel at any time. If you cancel before 23rd or so you do not get charged for the following month. Why don't you get the free 3GB from Axxess and 5GB from WebAfrica and the 1GB free monthly from Afrihost and test them out first?

Just a tip then, don't test capped products - they always work better than uncapped products (Unless you're looking at Business Uncapped). My OpenWeb Standard account has great download speeds. So you may want to try out the Gamers King. No harm in doing so.

I have just had Telkom here they changed the port and put me on another cable They bumped me down to 4mb and I just had it changed to 10mb now.
Still slow as cancer.

Speeds also depend greatly on the server load and routing paths for the server / domain. At present international traffic from Cape Town is routed directly over WACS, so we try to ensure the best overseas latency. The capacity on the cable is more than our IPC capacity in the region to ensure that congestion is never an issue.

The best test would be a traceroute to sites that you are having issues accessing, so we can see where the latency is being introduced. If this is on our network, or one of our international links on the trace path, then we can see if this can be improved on our side.
