South Africa officially has 30 swine flu cases after an entire squash team of 11 people got infected. The Health Dept. maintains that we have nothing to worry about, yet the number of cases worldwide only increases.
 
In other news 100s of people went down with flu today, yesterday, the day before........ :eek:
 
jeez 30! call the medics!

lets be honest though, people are aware of it and should follow precautions, that all that is needed, we have an Aids pandemic to worry about so the government can't be hypocritical now.

Didn't the UN call it a pandemic ? I think Europe is headed towards 100,000 cases so it's a problem
 
Ok so a whole 30 people have the flu, millions have aids.

Yea let's worry about 30 flu cases. I think since the time you posted this thread 30 people have died from aids, let us know when people are actually start dropping dead.
 
I am a bit worried. All those players are from my squash club. And since Saturday I have a massive cold. If I am not better by tomorrow I will visit the doctor.

My fiancee also works with foreigners everyday(travel related business) and has been sick since Thursday. I actually think I caught the cold from her.

Fortunately I do not have the urge to roll in mud yet.

Very true.
But can you imagine if this virus got spread under the AIDS "community".

Is this flu really so much worse than seasonal flu? I'm clueless regarding this virus.
 
Tin Foil Alert! Could it be that the 2009 swine flu was just a 'test' to see how it could spread? Come 2010 the deadly pathogen strain is added that will commence global depopulation :eek::eek::eek:

Either that or everyone is tripping over nothing......

Yea but people with AIDS can die from the common flu depending on their immune system, so i mean you would still have died because you had aids.

I see what your saying but i think people are going crazy over nothing for the moment. This is far from an epidemic, an epidemic is when people are dropping dead and the virus is infecting thousands a day. That is far from the case.
 
Yea the egypians don't have to worry they slaughtered all their pigs :p, only to be told they have nothing to do swine flu.

Strange though avian flu comes from birds but swine flu does not come from pigs :D, whoever named it swine flu is being hunted by the egypians :D
