3000 ghost workers uncovered at PRASA

You gotta wonder wonder about Prasa, the trains are barely running in Cape Town but they bashed down part of the trainstation and now building a huge office of some sort uh with what money? They bashed apart a really nice mosaic from the 50s while doing it. Wish I'd have taken a picture. :/

And if these salaries are paid into accounts, the money should still be in the accounts ?

You have to admit though, black, white, whatever, the amount of corruption in SA's government is astounding.
Black leaders care as much about black south africans as verwoerd did
 
This should be easy enough to find the culprits to a certain extent.

This is an issue in all government departments and it's just ignored once discovered I recall the education dept. had the same issues (probably still do) and it was talked about and that's it.

What a way to start the day!
The trouble with this news is that nothing will be done about it, even though it must be the simplest thing to trace where this money is going.
To save SA one would need to start by building the biggest prisons, and lock up these thieves. The ‘government’ can create jobs for prison wardens and staff rather.

The apartheid government, including Verwoerd and his cronies, provided Baragwanath hospital, one of the biggest and best hospitals in the world with state of the art equipment, operating theatres and world class specialists and was reserved exclusively for black people. Elsewhere in the country, they built smaller hospitals and clinics where free treatment was available

Today Baragwanath is barely functioning and most of the other facilities have vanished, all due to neglect and corruption by Party comrades who were deployed there with the freedom to plunder at will. Our leaders simply don't care because they all use private medical facilities or joyride off to Russia when the need arises - all paid for by the taxpayers.

Perhaps someone could point out a similar achievement by the ANC since it came to power?

With 28 years of hindsight, the ANC have been no better than Idi Amin.
Hitler had very few positives but he rebuilt a ruined economy while the ANC destroyed a working economy and has nothing to be proud of.

How long has this been going on- before RICA and what about RICA updates?
Even a salary of R10 000 p.m which would be very low would amount to R360 000 000.00 per annum.

Fvckali should take the first fall as any "good" CEO would for this.

Not sure what you mean by just an admin worker stealing but getting ghost workers onto the payroll can easily be done when the controls are weak, you don't need to be Lucky to pull it off.
