3500 classic

Hi there guys. Need some help please. Listen my mom has a 3500 classic on the vodacom top up 135. the phone itself can fit more that 100 sms at least and that is without a memory card. There is nothing really on the memory card. Now she had 15 messages in total on her phone. She tried sending an sms just now and said not enough memory. We had to delete stuff off the phone in order to actually send a message. Please tell me what is happening. Thanks a million. mwah

If the phone has an installed memory card she should be saving sent, incoming and draft messages to the memory card as opposed to the phones memory. By default messages are saved to the phones memory so to change this go to messages, options, settings, other and then by memory in use select memory card...

But I'm not sure that is where the problem lies. It would seem there may be other applications running in the back round which are using up the phones limited ram so also in options in the general menu select show open apps and then close any open apps that are not currently being used thereby freeing up the phones ram...

There wasnt a built in memory card. There were no applications running. All seems to be ok now but will see. thanks mwah
