3D Mark 06 - Post scores

I have a question for all people with X1800XT series on myadsl, do you guys score higher than 5700 in 3dmark 06? Because my friend has a Saphire X1800XT 512mb,P4 3.2 ghz,1 gig ram and a soltek motherboard(cheap) and scored +/- 5700 without any overclocking of anything and Dualmeister posted 5691 with the X1900 series so this is puzzling me:confused:

I'm noting some very funny scores here on this forum. X1800XT scoring 5700+ in 06 is B.S

X1800XT is nowhere near that score especially on a P4 rig.
Think of it like this, 7800GTX 512Mb is faster than X1800XT but it doesn't score over 5K default. So you should ask your friend to verify that score...
Cause from where i stand, it's not possible without an oc of the CPU and GFX card

Ha Ha, my Dualmeister it is non other than the legend himself. Clark kent/ Superman thing.
Yah well, I guess you knew who I be from the get go ne?

This forum is already fun. :)

But now how do you listem to me brag about your l33t skillz and just say ah shucks I wish I was him, when well you are him. :)

Ha Ha Ha okay then. :)
Never heard Batman say, "I know who Superman is and I'm going to tell"

DuelMeister it is then. Much respect!

I'll try see if i can get him to take a screenshot so i can post it:D

The problem for me is if i wait, i will wait forever cause there is always something new on the horizon.

I know but I have the same system but "only" a 6800GT. If I upgrade now I would be making a big mistake cos the 6800GT will last me for some time still. If however you have an older card going for the 7900 now would be great.

My Gfx card luckily still has some legs left in it.

Nothing wrong with the 6800GT.

I know thats why I am waiting for the DX10 cards vos I am lucky enough to have the 6800GT which will still be going strong for a while. :)

Athlon 64 x2 3800+ (OC'ed from 2GHz to 2.3GHz)
ASUS 7600GT
512MB x2 RAM in dual channel
Res: 1280x1024

Score: 3305

Seems a bit low wouldn't you reckon? Should I be checking for problems?
