Where can I get it done?
Pg glass couldn't help me
I just went into my nearest glass/window place, gave them the measurements and they cut them for me? Did it for me while I waited.

Have had mirrors and glass cut to size for other projects at my local hardware store as well.

Not sure where you are based. I live in JBay. Perhaps someone else can help you with where to go?

Printed a new housing for the little desktop amp - and speakers stands to tilt the speakers up - happy with the results in Funkiments black

Local Builders or Leroy should be able to sort you out.
thanks so i just ask for a 250x250x4 mirror?
and do i need to specify its a borosilicate glass or all mirrors are?
also where can i get those clips to attach it to the printer?or can i just print them?

For the clips you can just use plain old bulldog clips

It doesn't have to be borosilicate glass. Its better but normal glass works fine. Most of us use binder clips from the stationary section. Printing them in abs or pla won't work as the hot bed will soften them so unless you can do a high temp material just stick to binder clips.

thanks yes that makes sense...:-)

Another option is Buildtak. I used them on my Anet and it was super hassle free. Only issue I had with it was when I messed up my z offset and my nozzle drew pretty pictures on it.

Tried my hand at printing ABS... Again

I think it came out half decent. I still had a bit of lifting on the corners and some of my print stayed behind on the bed :/

Ill also switch off ironing for the next attempt.

If you don't have a heated chamber the bed adhesion and not having any drafts makes big difference for abs.
Try adding a brim of 5-6 lines as well or brim ears(can now be done automatically by super slicer) helps a lot in keeping the corners stuck.

I also at one stage had a printer near where people frequently walked by and just the draft from that caused issues in prints. So if you can stick a box or a big plastic container over the printer or build a nice chamber.

Forgot about this thread.

Have an ender 3, flashed with Marlin 2 and a BLtouch installed, printing on glass.
Managed to get a pretty decent first layer now: 1x 0.12mm layer using grey filament.

Need to deal with stringing next.

I got the mirror, but now i am really struggling.
I set the z offset to be a bit higher, but when i run ABL it's trying to go through the glass, then i set the offset to be really high....same story....if i run M503 i can see the zoffset is configured properly so i am a little stuck :-(

Hi guys I currently have an ender 3, and looking at getting into some resin printing. The Creality resin printers seem to be getting iffy reviews... any suppliers Elegoo or Photon locally? Or any entry level resin printers you could recommend for a hobbyist? Thanks for any tips!!

Z-Offset is only calculated after it reaches home...

Thus you probably need to adjust your Z-End Stop a little higher.

The printer needs to know where 0 is before it can do any offset you might have set.

Do you have an Inductive Probe for auto Bed levelling?

He mentions the Z-Endstop for homing at around 9:00 - Simply loosen the screws holding the endstop to the frame and move it up 5-10mm.

Then Home your machine again and see how far you are off and adjust from there..

Is that the z end stop?I guess I have to move on both sides
