3D TV is dead, finally

i never took out a cent for this. i mean really - only times 3D really impressed me is about 1/10 movies at cinema. no way in hell i will setup a cinema sized screen at my home :o

IMAX 3D is the best of the lot...and even then I would go without if IMAX had the option.

But when it comes to IMAX 3D over normal crappy cinema then I'll stomach the 3D.

Home use has never made anything better.

One possible loss...

My LG 3D tv with supported gaming platforms allows two player full screen gaming, by using the left eye channel for one player and the right eye for the other, and provides gaming glasses that make it work.

The moment you need to get people to use something externally (Glasses) to watch TV this will fail. Imax is a great success because you don't need to farking glasses. Those cheap glasses scratch. kids sit on them, they disappear and you can't have a house with a few guests all watch the movie in 3D unless you have a box of glasses...

IMax 3D doesn't need 3D glasses? But it looks to blurry without them...
