3D TV is dead, finally

No, I do enjoy 3D-Cinema when it's done right. I watched Avatar in 3D 3 times at the cinema, just an awesome experience.

But yes, a lot of the "3D" movies are just 2D with the occasional 3D scene. Very annoying, especially for someone who wears glasses.

Mine never made it out their packaging. Lightning strike not too long thereafter. Fried this TV... perhaps that was an early sign from above :)
 
Completely missed this tech hype due to financial constraints :)
 
I bought a 3D nature Blu Ray to test out the 3D ... was better than I thought. Far better than any 3D rips you may get

But in 2 years all I ever did was check 5 minutes of the Blu Ray, once. Also a mission to setup because my amp is still HDMI 1.3 so I had to manually connect direct to the TV to test
 
Still waiting for a cheap flat 2D OLED TV.

Hoping my Plasma lasts until that day to avoid downgrading to LCD.

My LG 3D tv with supported gaming platforms allows two player full screen gaming, by using the left eye channel for one player and the right eye for the other, and provides gaming glasses that make it work.

Mainly bought a 3D because of the higher Hz anyhow. Also I think in 5years +- we've only watched about 4 3D movies.
