3G in Pinelands

allow me to announce that there is now 3G coverage in Pinelands, specifically at Medscheme building next to Vincent Pallotti Hospital!

they sent me a coverage rollout list stating priorities etc, still trying to work out how to read this thing but will advise once done.

rather ask what area (and bear in mind that i failed geography in std 7 so if its remote gimme something close by), but please no places like tweebuffelsdoodmeteenskootfontein, ure just setting ureselves up for disappointment

Claremont/Kenilworth - Westlodge Building tower

They installed the equipment months ago but still not "activated" - what gives?

I drove pasted Vincent Pallotti Hospital on the weekend and there was no 3G coverage. Must be a very small site because there is no 3G coverage in Pinelands either.

I assume you are giving a list of towers that match "Claremont/Kenilworth" and not a list of activated towers? In that regard, I would think that "Western Cape Claremont Athlone" would be the Westlodge tower as KC is another building a few blocks away.

Probably want to launch mutliple towers at a time?

On the Nokia phone you go to Messaging/Options/Settings/Cell broadcast & switch reception & topic detection ON. You are looking for topic 900 & 910.
