Between December 2006 and last week (12/01/2007) I had latency in WoW of between 800 and 1200 which is playable with only a lag spike every so often. Since Monday my latency has deteriorated to between 2500 and 15000.

I have resorted to using my wife's simcard (Vodacom) in my phone and the latency is between 600 and 1000. The problem is that I have a data bundle with MTN and she is on pre-paid and it is costing me a small fortune.

How can this happen in 3 days and what can I do to get my latency back?

Last night the latency was the best I've ever had :)

Even for data? Why considering there's no difference in peak/off-peak data rates?

That's a idea increase data rates after 8:00 to minimize congestion and to increase throughput speeds

Very very bad idea, except if my wife goes to sleep at 5pm ;)

This weekend was not too bad, between 1200 and 1500 although it dipped to 3800 at one stage. In any way, thanks for the help. I'm moving to another area this weekend so **I hope** it goes better there.
