3G + Mxit?

When on a data session, and your phone switch between 2G and 3G, or vice versa, you get disconnected and must reconnect again. Only affecting pre-paid,

i.e. "Disconnect on bearer switch for pre-paid only"

(But I agree, it was a tad cryptic )

Meaning Contract customers can switch between 2G and 3G without it disconnecting and reconnecting?

I had the same problem about last year this time with my V3x and my Vodacom SIM(surprise surprise i just realised that now, it was my contract SIM doing it). Got disconnected every 5mins while on MXit. Got frustrated and stuck to my MTN Prepaid SIM rather.

Now still on MTN(Contract this time) and no complaints from me

Mxit and 3G def dont go well together with me aswell, almost every minute is a disconnect, also on prepaid.

Same problem here, but mine is with mobile internet as well. I've got an N6680 with a program that forces 3G and can connect fine when using it as a modem for my pc, but when I try and use Opera mini or mxit, I have to switch to a gsm only profile.

GSM is more stable, but I use 3G all the time, my phone and networks quite good where I stay!
