At R599, I'd order a few and resell them (on the forum?) for R1599, making a cool 1 grand off each and still would be a bargain at R400 less than the normal retail of ~R1900!

boo ... v3g is a heartbreaker!!!!
First she said sixhundredsomething on a plan, after I asked for the cash price .. then I said again "NO, the cash price" and she told me R599 ... I made it very clear, and repeated it twice ..
I found it a reasonable price, of course this would be without the datacard, just the router.
I realize V3G, you would know better and I got wrong information from the store. Just wanted to make it clear that I did make it clear to them.
