3g vodacom data

Wonder if someone can help me with this one. I have a 3g data card and am trying to set up a IAX remote extension to my trixbox but for some reason when I am logged onto the 3g I can get to my server. I know with other modems you need to open ports but on the 3g what do I do. help please

Presume you mean cannot?

Using the Internet APN? try changing to the InternetVPN APN.

Its the "Access point" on the Vodacom network you connect to.
It gets selected on your cell phone, or datacard, you're probably conencting to "Internet", or "Internet.GPRS" or some such.
