Software installs fine, when I try run the software I get:

"WLAN unavailable, please restart WLAN service." message but the Cell C Connector still loads. Then when I click connect, I get:

"The connection attempt failed."

Using Windows 7 64-bit

3G or 3GB?

The message indicates that 3G modem is not recognised by the system. It is why it attempts to connect by WiFi.
Check it in Device Manager (view by connection), expand USB root hub. Read forum about installation problems in Win7 64 bit.

Good day

try down load the latest driver from the website.
That should assist, there was a few stock that had this issue.
Was due to Firmware and drivers.

The drivers from the Cell C website match those of the ones that were installed. My Cell C Connector software can see the modem - tells me signal strength etc, but when I hit the connect button I get the error message. I have tried everything I can think of.

It MF190 works fine in my laptop which is using Windows 7 32-bit. But as soon as I plug it into my desktop which is using Windows 7 64-bit I get that error message. I have double checked the settings from my laptop and it matches that of my desktop, yet still the problem exists.

I really want to use it on my desktop, so any help would be much appreciated.

After 2 hours of mucking about I fixed it.

Turns out my Windows Event Log service was not running on my desktop PC. After a long ass mission to fix that, I also gave SYSTEM full permissions to the "C:\Windows\System32\LogFiles\WMI\RtBackup" folder and restarted.

Now connects fine.
