They haven't fully launched the new options yet, wait till next month folks. People would have bought a ton of bundles prior May 4th.

^^^^^^This!!! We have ****ty ADSL in my area. I used to be able to get 10Mb/s but this has degraded over time. Telkom's LTE was the lone shining light, with their 500GB for R50 special offer.

Legit petition is needed yes. Unless we just get a lot of people to email Telkom (we need to get an email address) - not spam them, but legit request the product back. or at least give us the option to buy it outright R59 for 450gb night-data. not this lotto crap

I got these deals on my sim sonke card. Strangely on my Smart Broadband sim card, voice and data deals are not split and I'm still offered old deals. I expected the Smart broadband sim to have better deals since it's my main card I use daily strictly for data.I've actually got some pretty decent Mo Nice deals on my sim.
1GB anytime Telkom data valid for 30 days for R12.
BTW guys they split the data and voice into their own menus now offering more deals.
Instantly bought the 1GB deal.
I also do not have them on my smartbroadband sim I have them on my main Telkom More sim...

They're also making you acknowledge that it's non-roaming data - smart move, less confusion.
I was on sim sonke. Then switched to the "broadband wireless" plan (last week).
Were offered 2.7GB @ R30 for 5d, 1Gb @R43 for 7d (also roaming), 5 Gb @ R55 for 10d and 15Gb @ R165 for 30d.
My guess is the big and cheap data will most likely be offered on the "broadband wireless" plan, which is aimed at people within the telkom network area.

Could be this- those that need it, can't get it as their tower is over-subscribed. Those with Fibre don't need it, but can get it.

Huh, I just tried this. Offer was 1GB @ R12 too, but they debited R0.50 and gave me 45MB :crylaugh:

1) 45MB @R0.50 for 2 days,
4) 1GB [MENTION=77452]R12[/MENTION] for 30 days
I got a 2GB @R23 for 10 days, and 6GB @R65.50 for 30 days deal.
This is on the Sim Sonke/Telkom More sim, haven't checked the Smartbroadband yet.
