what should happen is:

384 -> 512k

512k -> 1m

1m -> 4m

and prices stays as it is...

OH my F..... Goodness if they dont do that then they are the most daft people ever born. I just worked out its going to cost me R1802.00 to get ADSL fully installed from scratch where I live and thats only with 1Gb cap.

hmmmm... Somewhat I think you guys haven't seen how telkom works:

Dangle a carrot in front of the customers and charge them an arm and leg to try catch the carrot.

This has been what telkom's been doing all these years... I think we'll have a better chance seeing snow in summer.

Remember when Telkom launched the R7 weekend option on trial back in 1998. Everyone got it for free during the trial. After the trial you had to purchase that option as an extra.

One of my client's got 4Mbit ADSL and I downloaded a couple of drivers off international sites at 530 kbps. Fastest download I've ever seen on the internet.

530kb per sec// yur client was just lucky. i've never seen above 410kb per sec on mine. and i sync at 4096K with 20 SNR. i barely see above 350kb per sec. when its lekker.. and after that normall 120kb per sec on international.

And I saw a documentary this morning and there i noticed a download going at 4meg a second on the net lol
