Its my first post so here goes.
Have a 4MB adsl Line from Telkom, and since i have tried blaming the ISP's i now have 3 ISP accounts....
Afrihost Capped, Axxess capped and a Afrihost Uncapped on the IS backbone.
Problem is that in the past month or two, the dsl sinc has dropped more than 3 times, some lasting days on end, and when telkom "fixed" it, and after alot of downloading on my part my Browsing and streaming is slower than a dialup connection, but on the Capped account (Unthrottled) the torrents can reach 450KB/s + speeds.
Now thing is there are no filters on my phone connetion to cause this sine i have no phones connected, the phone cable goes from the wall socket into the router. and the router states it sinced at 4MB and i cant confirm that since recently i cant access a speed test site, loading gmail or even this site takes minutes IF it goes through. Can play flash games tested it on miniclip but again it took 5 min to load 1 game on my 4MB dsl line.
Question is who do i talk to, shout at, and end up killing to get my line back up to speed.
Area is Wilgehuwel/roodepoort Did full antivirus scans and found nothing, avast antivirus was used..... any other questions please ask them if they will help resolve the issue or discover what is going on.
Hvnt called telkom since the line is "working" and im guessing as they are telkom, they would show me the finger with a nice "up yours" comment.
