4MB Line, 4 users uncapped - which ISP & Package?

Hi Guys,

Got a 4MB line, 4 Users, Looking at uncapped, which package do you guys recommend?
 
4 users on 1 router i hope, dont think there is uncapped that offers 4 connections at different places.

best go for mweb or openweb gold.
 
Yes one router, Downloads would be off Torrents and NZB's, probably at 100gigs max a month.
 
OpenWeb is your only hope imho, I have 3 users and MWeb just died!
 
As far as I know, OpenWeb is using IS' backbone. So any company who uses IS' backbone I would recommend. Afrihost also uses that... so you can go with them too.

Afrihost's uncapped is worse than MWeb, esp with the throughput needed for 4 users, I sudder to even think of it.... Unless you use the 50GB capped accounts or something.... Though our household pulls 200GB+ on avg so I can only imagine more for 4 users!
 
I`d go for Mweb, have them on our student housing places with 10 users, works fine. Openweb gold is a bit more expensive but could also work. I started testing the cheap openweb uncapped one, browsing seems okay so far, speedtest gives bout 0.8mbps on 4mbit line though.
 
Just remember - Openweb IS might be used for Torrents, but definately not VB! If you use a virtual server for torrents and then DL over http, you will be fine.
 
I'd install a general downloads server that handles communal downloads, limit it , and give the balance to the four for surfing,gaming etc.

Four people doing p2p, will demolish a 4Meg connection.
 
Get a download server, install SABnzbd+, SickBeard, XBMC
Get a VIP subscription to NZBMatrix *R70+- /Lifetime
Get a NewsDemon Account. R100x?

Profit.
That way the one machine does downloading, XMBC you cajn use to stream from.
Switch the machine off / pause downloads when gaming..

Been running the same setup my side, just with an extra pfsense firewall box added in front of the download box to do layer 7 shaping and throttling of the users
