Hi guys. I'm a mybroadband nuubie.

I got my dsl upgrade yesterday to 4mb. :D Very happy that it is syncing @ 6mb. I'm using a DuoPlus 300wr (Yes the cheap freebie:whistle:). As far as I know, I an about 1km away from the exchange. Telkom support and the online checker says my exchange supports 10mb. Now my question is, based on my router stats below, whats preventing me from syncing at 10mb?
I checked the sticky's about line attenuation ect. and judging by mine, it's quite good and that cannot be the deterring factor or can it? What else can it be?

Some insight would be great. Thanks in advance.

I recon you should phone them and ask them to try bump it up.
Oh and /me gives you the welcoming thumbkin...

Try changing Trained Modulation from ADSL_G.dmt to ADSL_2plus. i.e. use ADSL v.2 modulation.

I have the same situation. You said to change the modulation to only adsl 2+ so must i only mark the stuff that contains adsl2+ and nothing else?

Ye I gave that a shot, and it just kept saying "Synchronizing...". I assume, I'm not on a adsl2+ port

it is your port I was told the same thing and a friend of mine. He had to reapply to put him on a adsl2+ port.
