That looks suspiciously like Killarney :)

And that place is a blast...

I went on Sunday on the Jeep 4x4 course near Bronkies and it was fantastic! Absolutely brilliant day out! Got my 4x4 pre-learning certificate in the new Jeep Wrangler. Awesome buy! I must admit, I preferred the Sahara to the Rubicon because it was just more fun in the Sahara. The Rubicon actually makes everything a little too easy, if that makes sense? The Sahara requires a little more driver input...

Took some awesome video as well. Might upload to Youtube later...

...and how did the Grands keep up with you guys?

Surprisingly well...ish. They struggle on loose surfaces because of their power to weight ratio. They just spin tyres. In the Wranglers we just pump more juice for the ABS to kick in - they have to take sand with much more momentum and if they lose it they're in a little trouble. They do have higher ground clearance though which helps on the climbs. We scraped our bottoms on a few but they have skid plates so no issues really. The Rubicon is awesome with the disconnected sway bar though. They can go on the level 5 trails to places the Sahara struggles a little. Especially on rock...

Yesterday the new Grand stuck with us all the way.

On level 4 trails over sand they tend to get into a pickle if they loose momentum. During our competency test the Grands had to take make some risky moves to avoid stopping (which was an immediate fail) but they completed it with relative ease. One thing about the Grands is that the interior is almost identical to the Wranglers. The 2013 models that is. I was expecting a little more luxury. The new 2014 models however are absolutely beautiful inside...

Yes, we had the 2014 models there as you can see in my pic. HUGE improvement over the 2013 - magic piece of motorcar!

Can't you disconnect sway bars manually on the Sahara. Seem to remember reading that somewhere...

I love them, but those front lights look too small on the new one... :)

I'll get used to it, I guess.
