Under R200k second hand, nothing small, decent performance, lowish mileage.

Used to have a Civic VXi sedan so considering the hatch. It's the only smallish car I think I'd consider...

I'm sure it is but I'm going on what others have said in lengthy debates in the 4x4 forums on the matter. Also remember I am not in a position to buy out the box...so the difference in price for me will be somewhat reduced for the most part.

I hear the Wranglers are gas guzzlers and get very hot in summer as the roofs don't dissipate heat very well, also road noise is an issue.

With that said I will get one in a heart beat and almost did quite recently. Only 4 door convertible on the road. Awesomesocks, congrats.
