5.1 Speaker Set - Any recommendations?

Yes, that's a big advantage of buying proper kit. Spend most of your budget on a good receiver and then maybe just a set of good fronts. Although, that will already get you (rough guesstimate) over R6k (R4k for receiver, R2k for pair of bookshelf). So you have to start wondering if you're the type of person that wants to spend another (rough guesstimate) R6k on speakers (center, surrounds and sub). If you are that type of person then going this route is the best option: you can save and buy the kit as you go. If you aren't then there aren't many other options, other than one of the better packages e.g. Onkyo S5405 etc.
 
I don't know much about the high end audio but I have a set of Logitech X530 5.1 set and the new version is also not bad it's about 1+ grand.
