There is so many BUTS, FUTURES, 2010, $$$'s etc etc in those links you posed that it is not even a shame. BluRay is here and now. Sony drives it and use it and distribute the technology. So unless you come with real data to blow away the BluRAy , which is here and now, affordable and have the backup of many huge companies the rather dream alone. Those links you offered was googled and just supports my claim that you know nothing about any impending technology to oust BluRay. Fact is if there was something then M$ would have adopted that technology fast to counter Sony. My bet is they will buy into the BluRay technology soon.

This past Saturday I went to Makro to get some new DVD-Rs and I thought that perhaps I should get some dual layer disks this time.. R200 for 5 dual layer disks! - That was the best priced offer I could find there. (I never bought them btw.. stuck with single layer )

I don't even remember spotting any Blu-ray disks..

Cheapest I could find on Take2 is R149.00 for 2 25GB disks... So yea.. not sure where you're finding them for 20 bucks?
