MDKza, thats what motivated me to get a tower up... Back in 2008 I done a lot of research to get internet on my plot just to find out that there was nothing at all, the closest was Screamer coming from Kempton Park side but it was just too far, checked with them a few months ago and they lost that highsite as well. The other was Emcom which is now gone. Glen Austin is one big dead zone well atleast on the east side, thus a tower was a good idea

Hi Would it be possible for us to come and inspect the tower?

MDKza has been hounding us to set up in Glen Austin, we are close to the area anyway and it can't hurt to go and have a look.

Joburg water has been useless in even answering us on setting up on the watertower old pta main.

So if you are high enough we can make a plan.

I'm glad to see progress is being made. Because I wont ever stop hounding you guys ;)
I will keep and eye out and hopefully you guys will have Glen Austin up and running soon!
 
Glad to see there's others in Glen Austin with reception issues and looking into it - you can +1 the support :)
I'm not far from Hampton.

Same story, nobody can provide decent signal, the best option I have found so far is YahClick's current promotions.

EDIT: @GrimmyGrimReaper - Thanks for the pointer to bsit ... packages look decent, and it's nice to know you're impressed with it ;)

TBH...I don't really know...All I see on them in satellite dishes, masts & antennaes...
The one cnr Olifantsfontein Rd & Celliers St is in the property of Paddingtons nursery school....

I think that's just a cell mast? I use to pick it up the broadcast name on the phone
