Hi

I currently have a 1GB TelkomInternet account + 5GB Incredible Connect account.

My Incredible connect account expires on june this year.

I will definately buy more data, but I would like to know would it be better to get another 5GB account or rather get uncapped?

I have used openweb in the past and they were good. I dont use more than 5GB per month (usually), some months I use more (December 2011 I used 20GB).

So, cost wise, would it be better to buy another 5GB account or would it be better to get uncapped?

Thanks.

Just get Telkom uncapped.

Since you don't use more than 5gb it wil bee a waste to get uncapped. Uncapped is for people who use more than about 25g. I would go for uncapped if I was you but thats just me.

I think telkom let you upgrade your 1gb account to a 5gb account for 30 bucks more a month.

Would go for 10gb account just to be safe

If you are on a 384K line with 1gb @ telkom it costs you an additional R 20 per month for 5 gb in total. They called me about 2 weeks ago and asked me if I wanted it, just waiting for it to be activated ........

No. You guys are totally missing the point of uncapped. It's not to download hundreds of gigs. It's for peace of mind.

No cap to worry about.

I'm on an open contract for the same reason. It's irritating have to check cap/airtime all the time and watch downloads. I have better things to do with my time. Hence uncapped.

Fully agree. Moved to uncapped for the same reason - no constant monitoring of usage.

The problem with uncapped is that the shaping. Unshaped = too expensive
