Looks like the coppers don't really need the law amended, they just need to hear the politicians say go for it. I think this will be a real deterrent to those wannabe heisters out there.

Police and security guards have killed seven armed robbers who tried to break into a warehouse in Limpopo’s capital, Polokwane.
It is not known what the armed gang was trying to steal when they attacked the secure facility on Sunday

Eyewitness news doesn't have the full story yet, but SABC radio says the robbers were found at a coin security depo...
 
shoot to kill, nice job......

so everytime you see any object is moving and "shoot to kill" no matter what it is. (I like that.)

I'd like to become a trigger happy man. :)
 
Good job : such action would have been blamed in most european countries as the criminals have more rights than victims.
 
Until one of us gets killed because one of those cops "thought" we were criminals...

I am glad they are taking a stance like this but a lot of people have been killed by cops lately, even innocent ones :P
 
Dad would've shot son's killers

Polokwane - "It's right that the police shot and killed them. I wish I could have the chance to shoot my son's murderers..."

Rex Stein was commenting on the seven armed men who were shot dead by police during an attempted robbery in Polokwane on Sunday.

Rex is the father of Deon Stein, a security guard who died three years ago while trapped in a cash-in-transit van set alight by robbers near Marken in Limpopo.

The robbers broke into the Protea Coin security group's cash depot in Superbia, an industrial area, in the early morning hours on Sunday.

"I'm very proud of the police for their swift action," said Stein.

Other peoples dads,sons and brothers that made the choice to become criminals and wouldn't have thought twice about blowing your head off to get what they wanted.
 
Excellent news!!! The general public is sick and tired of these cockroaches and their chosen professions. Crime and corruption are the 2 cancers that unchecked will bring this country to its knees. Drastic measures are required and if it means somebodies brother, father, son must die then so be it...
