720p Streaming over WiFi

It looks like the assumption that a lan connection is a lan connection. They can be different. There are many parameters which can be changed, so if one device works correctly and another not, check that the settings are the same.

Another difference is the antenna. A laptop would have a different antenna system to a tablet, maybe the way you hold the tablet affects the signal, or maybe the orientation is different, so try rotating the device around the vertical axis or changing its angle to the horizontal or try holding the device differently.

On Note 2 and SGS2, it streams 1920 x 800 file, but sometimes stutters when bitrate exceeds maximum bandwidth (19Mbit on any wifi device on 54Mbps profile) during very dynamic scenes. Router: Netgear JWNR2000v2.

On remotely related note, I wonder how it comes that using ES file manager it transfers files @ 50KB/s (or anything around this) and not full speed as above? Can this be similar problem with OS or software that streams video?
