79 Capetonians nabbed for drunk driving

Wish I could say I'm surprised, have seen my fair share of drunken brawls and accidents right on the 4-way stop intersection between Cubana and Buckley's. It generally turns into a clusterfck of note in that area.

I know, 10 years ago I was arrested for assault outside Cubana (I worked there). These days you could probably get away with many things in the streets.
 
Clearly it's got nothing to do with drinking and women just can't tell left from right.

So the insurance company needs to do an individual psychometric and other assessments?

Remember insurance risk premiums works on stats and as I pointed out to the other guy, if they mention only 2 women caught, the other 77 were then men...

did i say individual assessments? they obviously set risk based on some sort of experience investigations. woman aggression on the road is not new. why isn't it feeding into their risk premiums? unless they have to make more accidents to be recognized as bad drivers.

Well, unless they are having more accidents then there is nothing to measure to change the risk (there is no "agro driving" police that capture statistics that can be measured), if they are having less accidents their premiums will be lower.

That sort of behaviour happens, photograph the car and driver, post online, then take your business elsewhere, and encourage others to do likewise.

That type of policing is not needed nor warranted.

It is not, I agree, but I'm not one of those pisscats who posts all sorts of kack that they don't like on social media.

EDIT: And take what business elsewhere? Go drink in another town? :p

Yep, if need be.

Its not about posting all sorts, but simply making people aware of the the unnecessary harassment.

No, and no. That prick in the car can piss off, I'll ignore him with no difficulty, and no, I'm not going to moan on social media about it. I hate that, and I unfriend people that do that.

My point was that they seem to actively focus on the same places all the time, while it's chaos elsewhere. In two years (when I still worked more regularly, like 2 nights a week/weekend), I have only seen ONE roadblock on Blaauwberg Road.
