I lived in America for quite some time and believe me, the majority of blacks don't give a rats ass about A Lincoln, especially those who are educated and know the facts from the BS.

What was A.Lincoln before he freed the slaves? The year before? Month before? Still a racist, when Slavery ended it didn't mean much for blacks in the US, you have to remember the battle is STILL on-going. We were still not allowed to vote after slavery and many other restrictions were still in place and clearly are still in place.

So forget anyone who is racist, off with their heads, the lot of them.

Smuts was in a position of influence when the black people encountered in the North were primitive in their living conditions, hygiene, etc. His attitude was a reaction to this, which would not be so now. In fact he was considered progressive for his time.

Yes, I'm serious that all white people were racists in the 30's and 40's.
Many white people saw blacks as being equal but different and Smuts was one of them.
Of course there were interracial couples then, but I guarantee it was far more common for the white man to rape, coerce or 'look after' the African slave girls than it was for the slave masters daughters to be running off with their African slaves.

In the 30's and 40's there were relationships between men and women, that doesn't mean the men weren't sexist or saw women as being inferior.
In the same way there were interracial relationships - that doesn't mean they didn't see blacks as being inferior.

You don't even have to read a history book, read something based on numbers and especially probability. You actually believe that all white people were racist in the 30's and 40's...Amazing, I mean I can't sit here and argue with you about that as that is pointless because the majority of the whites WERE racist but clearly not 100% of them.

You have to know that we as a species, we are never 100% something, there is always a probability of change. This is my point. And in this probability of change, we would then have some white people who ere not racist, do you understand? This is simply based on a mathematical point of view, nothing more.

Once again, we had people like Richard Feynman, GOOGLE or youtube his videos, he touches on everything, from anti-Government, anti-pope(one of the greatest little speeches he gave out regarding the popes and social classes) to race, whatever, he shed his opinion about all kind of things during his lectures and he was clearly not a racist, he understood the conditions of the world far better than the majority do today as I have obviously found out.

But EVEN THEN, 100% of people cannot have the same opinion on anything. This is something you have to understand and it amazes me that you don't, none the less, lets put this behind us and move on to a new topic.
