It was in a residential area, I am sure you fully understand what they were up against, the cops are the only ones who care to preserve innocent people's lives in such situations, 8 is a very decent number.

There is always that oke who gets upset. I remember a few years ago, there was a video where gunmen was shooting at police, and police shot one of them, and then finish him off. (A good shooting, because that was not misunderstood child, but a hardened criminal). The human rights brigade were up in arms about it.

I remember watching some documentary about this, it is well organised, there is a financier, who supplies the monies for intelligence gathering, equipment, safe houses etc. Then there is the intelligence gathering phase where they infiltrate or get someone on the inside to get information on the cash in transit vans. These gangs are not mickey mouse operations, but hardened killers who deserve death.

To be fairer respect is something that is earned and not deserved. I personally have little praise for Cele's pity parade when there are comments like he thinks they "will be fine". It's inept behavior and unfit for someone who holds such a position, you need to know things and you should be front and center but he never has been.
