8.ta blocking Google verification number?

My Gmail has been hacked into twice. So after the 2nd time I activated 2-step verification, a system where Google sends me a 5 digit code to my phone via SMS or by an automated voice call. I type this code in when asked by Google to enable me to access my Gmail, Google+ and YouTube accounts. From yesterday when Google tries to send an SMS to my phone or try to make an automated call to my phone, I get nothing. I've read that some networks block the Google number. If this is true, then 8.ta is blocking me from accessing my own email. Receiving the verification number on my phone is now the ONLY way I can access my Gmail, and it is very important that I be able to access my Gmail, like, now. Can this be verified ASAP please? 8.ta rep?
 
Strangely enough it doesn't look like the 8ta or CellC reps are here today. Good luck!
 
I have been getting my FNB inContact messages on and off with 8ta.
 
If you can afford it I would tell them to get stuffed. There are good and helpful people working there, but the great majority are lazy and want you off the phone as fast as possible. "Not my dept" is a frequent reply
 
It's a pity that you don't have an Android phone. You could have downloaded the mobile app that generates codes for you.

Hi BLIXEMPIE!

Please can you send us your 8ta number via PM? We have contacted Google and they need to trace the SMS trail and see where the SMSes are getting stuck?
