825 Mbps ADSL from NSN

Yeah... Gone in 60 seconds indeed. I reiterate what I have always said. As long as anybody in this country makes use of capped connections we can write the type of technical progress that can lead to speeds like this on our forheads. Look how quickly MWeb's uncapped products have stirred up the market. And now their dominance in the market is allowing them to push for open peering. In my mind anybody who uses capped internet is a traitor to the SA internet community.

telkom is government controlled so nothing will happen any time soon

the only reason i dont have uncapped is because i cannot afford it.
ive got an idea.
the phone is on my mothers name & she is a pensioner, so we pay only R69(inc VAT) for line rental and R258 for the Telkom 5 gig thingie.
that comes to R327 monthly
how about you give me another R100 every month and i will gladly apply for uncapped?

and then I woke up with a "thump" and a 4Mbps ADSL line...........
