Bought a sim, bought data (R150), but I can't find the 2+1 under the data bundle optiions.

Can someone confirm whether it's been discontinued or am I just having a blonde moment over here?

Can't check now...but I did top up 2 days ago. I'd be hugely surprised if 8ta ever stopped this promotion without replacing it with something better.

No, it's definitely still active. I bought that data bundle yesterday !

Edit : Just checked, and it's still available.

I'm retarded! I forgot to set the sim to non-roaming :D

Is there a USSD code to do this? I'm not in the mood for call centres now

Phone 8-ta and request them to change your sim to a data sim only. The USSD codes will then appear with the data specials.

EDIT: I didnt see your later post. Ignore my post

hi, my iburst ends this saterday so then i dont have any internet. I heard that 8Ta is good and cheap, but i dont know what the sim card will cost me and can i use my old 3G or must i buy a 8Ta 3g?

You can get sim cards for R1 and most 3G modems should work.

To load the 2+1 and 60+60 specials you need to phone 8ta and convert your sim card to non-roaming.

Do your data that you did not Finnish, go over to the next month?

with the 60+60 gig data deal all data is allocated upfront so the carry over concept is not applicable...you get all the data to use as and when u want

3G should be fine..but if you looking to use the promo bundles then you will have to convert your sim to a data sim. which means you will be using 8ta's network and not their roaming partner...if you wana convert try *180# then option 5...

Hi Draconia2!

We will probably have new specials by then... Our product developers are actively working on new deals and technologies to implement.

Watch the press for details ;)
