Hi

I've been trying to get a bill from 8ta for my 10gig contract the past 6 weeks. It's paid from the business, so I can only pay on invoice. Numerous calls, emails, all with promises but no delivery. Also signed up for a debit order, which never got deducted from my account.

So last week wednesday my account gets suspended. After a 45 minute call, we they finally figure out that they processed my account number wrong, my delivery address is somewhere I never lived before, and they have the wrong ID number. So whoever processed the contract must have had Grade 1 typing!!

All this gets rectified, and after 6 weeks, Friday I finally get a statement emailed to me. I rush off to ABSA, pay the full amount due. Fax it through the the number given to me.

It's now Wednesday morning, account is still suspended. Another 30minutes call, only to be told I have to wait 72 hours for the payment to be verified. Uhmmm it's been 96 hours +.

Why do I have to wait this long for something that wan't my mistake. I ask for a supervisor, 20 minutes later still holding on. Eventually just hung up.

And yes, I've emailed my details to the 8ta Rep, also without reply.

I sent you a PM regarding the above matter. I'm now receiving sms's warning me of a bad credit record due to my 8ta account. In Gods name, what more must I do. I've spent more then R 210 just on calls to the call centre!!!!!!!!!!! Speaking to a bunch of know nothings!
